A Friendly reminder to motorists
Adverse weather could pose many dangers such as heavy snow and fog and ice glazed roads. All of these conditions can cause severe visibility problems and can cause vehicles to skid leading to dangerous accidents if enough care is not taken.
Motorists are being advised to take extra care when driving through these treacherous conditions during winter months. Drivers are advised to always keep a safe distance from the car infront, use dipped headlights, to keep even speed and avoid overtaking vehicles as much as possible, use fog lights only when the visibility is severely impaired but not in mild foggy conditions. Lastly, the best you can do is to be always prepared and have stock of food and drinks for any unpredictable circumstances.
